Impossible List

Essentially a bucket list, except that it changes as goals build on themselves and one actually does the items on it. Inspired by Thomas Frank.


This is a personal page, but I keep it here to keep me accountable and push me to do exciting things.


Last 5 Completed Goals


  • Build a website for a client (June, 2020)
  • Do a muscle-up (July 24th, 2020)
  • Develop something that gets 1,000 downloads (April 11th, 2021)
  • Do a Sprint Triathlon (July 20th, 2021)
  • Run a sub-20 minute 5k - 19:57 (August 11th, 2021)

Life Goals


  • Write a song 
  • Develop a commercial videogame 
  • Write a novel 
  • Write a nonfiction book, an interesting one 
  • Create and perform a comedy routine, somewhere 

Fitness Goals


  • Do a Sprint Triathlon (July 20th, 2021)
    • Do an organized Olympic Distance one 
  • Do 100 push-ups in 1 set 
  • Do 20 pull-ups in 1 set 
  • Do a muscle-up (July 24th, 2020)
    • Do a set of 5 muscle-ups (I'm currently around 3) 
  • Run a sub-20 minute 5k - 19:57 (August 11th, 2021)
    • Run a 2:05 800m 
    • Run a sub-55 400m 
  • Run a half-marathon 

Professional Goals


  • Build a website for a client (June, 2020)
  • Develop something useful that gets 1,000 downloads (April 11th, 2021)
    • Develop something useful that gets 10,000 downloads 
  • Start a profitable business 

Skill Goals


  • Learn to play piano (well enough to play most modern songs nicely with both hands) 
  • Learn to play guitar to some extent (Any chord, arpeggios, + melodies) 
  • Learn to sing (so I don't sound horrible) 
  • Learn to juggle a soccer ball consistently with at least 20 ups 
  • Learn to juggle (3 ball cascade) (December, 2020)
  • Average a double-double my senior year of basketball
